Job summary

Thermamax Sdn. Bhd. in Subang Jaya is seeking a Specification & Technical Sales Manager to support and coordinate specification and technical sales for ACMV/HVAC/PDV systems.

The role remains hands-on in technical sales while guiding junior engineers and supporting specification activities. Requirements include a Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma, 4–6 years in ACMV/HVAC sales or specification, familiarity with ACMV standards, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of ACMV/HVAC system sales or specification support.
• Familiar with ACMV systems and basic specification processes.
• Knowledge of MS1525, ASHRAE and UBBL standards.
• Own transport and willingness to travel for meetings/site visits.

Responsibilities

• Promote and specify ACMV/HVAC/PDV systems to consultants, contractors, and developers.
• Support and coordinate specification activities during design and tender stages.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare and review technical proposals, submissions, and compliance documentation.
• Track project pipelines from design to execution stages.
• Conduct technical presentations and discussions with clients and consultants.
• Deliver confident and effective presentations to clients and consultants.
• Develop a strong understanding of company products and services.
• Provide guidance and support to project/site teams on technical matters.
• Assist in handling technical queries from consultants and clients.
• Support site coordination, pre-sales meetings, and project follow-up.

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Specification & Technical Sales Manager to support and coordinate specification and technical sales activities for ACMV/HVAC/PDV systems. Salary Range:

• ·4-6 years: RM6,000 – RM7,500
• ·6+ yrs: RM7,500 and above
