Job summary

A marketing solutions firm in Malacca seeks a candidate to assist in promoting products and services to architects, developers, and contractors. Responsibilities include conducting market research, networking with clients, and participating in sales activities. The ideal candidate should possess a relevant degree, be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and have strong interpersonal skills. An understanding of MS Office is essential, while knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage. A willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  1. Possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or Professional Degree in Business Studies/ Marketing/ Administration/ Management or equivalent from recognized local and overseas university or institution of higher learning.
  2. One to two years of working experience in the related field will be an added advantage.
  3. Proficient in both spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English, ability to converse in local Chinese dialects is an added advantage.
  4. Possess own transport and willing to travel and work within Malaysia and overseas whenever required.
  5. Must be computer literate, must have basic knowledge in MS Office i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Knowledge in AutoCAD program is an added advantage.
  6. Presentable and well groomed with pleasant personality. Have good presentation, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills.
  7. Willing to work extra hours and complete a critical task with a very tight schedule.
Job Responsibilities & Authorities
  1. Assisting Specification Manager to promote extensively company products and services to target audience and prospect i.e. architect, developer, contractor, strategic partners and other related government agencies.
  2. Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
  3. To network and build strong relationship with the existing clienteles and prospects.
  4. Establishing new leads and contacts, making cold calls, visiting and conducting presentation to prospects accordingly.
  5. To educate customers and prospects regarding product features, specifications and benefits of company products and services.
  6. To assist and participate in company sales and marketing related activities or exhibitions whenever required.
  7. Continuously learn and acquire technical skills and product knowledge of company core product range, the industrial laminates.
  8. To participate in the organization continuous improvement programs and activities.
