Role

Extracting and preparing data using SQL, developing reports and dashboards, analysing prepaid business performance, and providing insights to support decision-making, operational improvements, and business performance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Extract and prepare data using SQL to produce reports and outputs aligned with business requirements, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly recurring reports on time.
• Verify report figures, monitor data quality, and promptly alert stakeholders when discrepancies, anomalies, or unusual trends are detected.
• Build, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards to track prepaid performance, particularly for campaign launches, new initiatives, and product rollouts.
• Analyse prepaid business data to identify trends, patterns, and issues, conduct basic comparative analysis to validate findings, and provide actionable insights and recommendations. Work closely with marketing, operations, and management teams to support decision-making, resolve operational challenges, and optimise processes.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and alignment with business needs, provide ad-hoc reports and analysis for urgent requests or special projects, and assist in other assignments as required by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in data reporting, analysis, or business intelligence is an added advantage, preferably in the telecommunications or prepaid industry.
• Passionate about working with data and using insights and reporting to solve business challenges.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction and preparation, with advanced proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development and performance tracking, and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, validation, and analysis. Good understanding of basic data analysis techniques and statistical concepts.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong focus on ensuring accuracy and reliability of reports and dashboards, proactive in identifying and highlighting discrepancies, anomalies, and unusual patterns to stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across marketing, operations, and management teams. Able to manage recurring deliverables and analytical tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
