Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience with children with special needs.
• Strong understanding of adapted physical education and special needs education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans for diverse learning needs.
• Patience, empathy and passion for supporting development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging sports and physical education programs for children with special needs.
• Adapt activities to meet diverse developmental and physical requirements.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and educational team.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment during physical activities.
• Collaborate with therapists and other specialists for holistic child development.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety of facilities.
• Promote physical fitness, motor skills and social interaction through sports.
