Hi 5 Sen Development & Training Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Special Education Physical Education Teacher. You will develop tailored PE programs for children with special needs and adapt activities to suit diverse abilities, while monitoring progress and engaging with parents and the educational team.

The role emphasizes supportive instruction, collaboration with therapists, and creating a safe, inclusive environment during activities; experience with behavior management is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience working with children with special needs.
• Strong understanding of adapted physical education principles and special needs education.
• Certification or degree in Special Education, Physical Education, or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in behavior management techniques within a classroom or activity setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans for diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging sports and physical education programs tailored to children with special needs.
• Adapt activities and exercises to meet the diverse developmental and physical requirements of students.
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and the educational team.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students during physical activities.
• Collaborate with therapists and other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to child development.
• Maintain equipment and ensure the safety of the sports facilities.
• Promote physical fitness, motor skill development, and social interaction through sports.
