Job summary

You will use play-based and multi-sensory strategies, track progress, collaborate with therapists and caregivers, and maintain records while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience teaching children with special needs (fresh graduates welcome).
• Compassionate, patient, and able to engage children across abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's developmental and learning goals
• Deliver one-on-one and small group teaching sessions for students with special needs
• Use play-based and multi-sensory teaching strategies to enhance engagement and learning outcomes
• Track and assess students' progress, adapting teaching plans as needed
• Collaborate closely with therapists and caregivers to ensure a consistent support system
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
• Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and IEP documentation
• Support life skills, behaviour management, and social-emotional development
