Job summary

ASM MOBILE CRANE & TRANSPORT SERVICE SDN BHD is seeking a diligent Spare Parts Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate stock records, receive and verify deliveries, and issue parts to maintenance teams. You will monitor stock levels, prepare replenishment requests, and liaise with suppliers on pricing and delivery.

You will keep documents organized using Excel or designated systems and perform regular stock inspections and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Experience in spare parts management and store operations.
• Proficient in Excel and inventory documentation.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in stock records.
• Good communication with suppliers and colleagues.
• Willing to learn inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update spare parts inventory records including received stock and issued items.
• Receive, inspect and verify spare parts deliveries against orders and invoices.
• Issue spare parts to mechanics and maintenance staff based on approved requests.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare replenishment requests to prevent shortages.
• Assist in purchasing requests and liaise with suppliers on availability and pricing.
• Keep spare parts store clean, labelled and accessible; conduct stock inspections.
• Maintain documents including stock records, orders, delivery notes and invoices.
• Update inventory information using Excel or designated systems.
• Report stock discrepancies and assist with monthly stock reports.
