Job summary

HAG Solar is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor (Solar PV) to lead rooftop and ground-mounted installations across Kota Kinabalu and Sabah. You will supervise day-to-day activities, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety and quality in all works.

The role requires 2–3 years in solar PV supervision, PW4 Wireman and SSS Yellow Book, CIDB, and strong leadership. Travel across Sabah and a valid D license are expected.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in solar PV installation supervision.
• Familiar with solar PV systems, installation methods, and electrical safety standards.
• PW4 Wireman Competency Certificate is required.
• Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) DOSH Yellow Book required.
• CIDB Yellow Book is required.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings (single line diagrams, layouts).
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities for solar PV installations (rooftop & ground-mounted).
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project schedules, manpower, and materials.
• Ensure all works comply with design specifications, safety standards, and requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and enforce site safety protocols.
• Liaise with Project Engineer, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Perform site inspections, testing, and quality checks during and after installation.
• Troubleshoot site issues and provide practical solutions promptly.
• Prepare site progress reports, daily activity logs, and submit to management.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with quality workmanship.
