Job summary

Pekat Solar Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Design Engineer to develop grid-connected PV system proposals for residential and commercial buildings, using roof area, energy bills, and site data.

You will create PV layouts, electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and tender documents with CAD tools; 2–3 years in related field preferred, degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, GCPV certification preferred, Mandarin an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent with PV knowledge.
• GCPV certification is preferred.
• 2–3 years of related field experience preferred.
• Proficient with CAD tools and general software.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site audits/visits to collect data for PV design.
• Design grid-connected PV proposals for residential and commercial buildings.
• Develop design specifications and system performance requirements.
• Create PV layouts and single-line diagrams, panel schedules using CAD.
• Prepare tender documents and technical submissions.
