Job summary

Hexagon Energy pty ltd in Malaysia is seeking an Operations Officer to coordinate end-to-end solar and battery installation projects. You will manage booking-to-completion workflows, create job packs, issue work orders, and keep projects moving smoothly.

The role involves liaising with customers, installers, suppliers, and internal teams, handling documentation such as STC, DNSP applications, and commissioning reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in solar industry operations, scheduling, or project coordination
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Familiarity with solar installation documentation and compliance processes
• Proficient with CRM/project management systems
• Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

• Coordinate residential and commercial solar installation projects from booking through to completion
• Create job packs, issue work orders, and manage installation schedules
• Liaise with customers, installers, electricians, suppliers, warehouse/logistics teams, and internal departments
• Prepare and submit documentation including STC paperwork and grid connection applications
• Ensure jobs meet Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000, 5033, 4777)
• Provide updates on installation dates, approvals, progress, and warranty claims
• Handle customer enquiries and after-sales support
• Plan installer schedules and routing; coordinate delivery of components
• Track inventory, manage supply risks, and communicate with procurement
• Assist with basic finance admin including POs, invoices, and job costing
• Assist with HR admin, onboarding, rostering, timesheets, and contractor documentation
• Coordinate internal communication across teams and maintain project records
