Job summary

Solarvest is seeking an experienced operations professional to oversee rooftop solar maintenance in Penang. You will lead fault diagnosis, coordinate maintenance plans, and ensure timely, compliant service delivery with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities include reviewing site records, preparing technical reports, managing parts inventory, and driving safety standards across projects. CIDB Green Card and height certification are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years in project management, construction, or operations & maintenance of rooftop solar PV.
• Valid CIDB Green Card and Working at Height certification is required.
• Solid understanding of rooftop solar PV systems, design, components and safety.
• Ability to prepare maintenance schedules and lead field teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rooftop solar maintenance activities per contract, SLA and SOPs.
• Coordinate annual and monthly maintenance planning with manpower and third parties.
• Provide on-site technical leadership for fault diagnosis and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate communication of maintenance outcomes for client reporting.
• Review site reports, checklists, photos, and test records for accuracy.
• Prepare high-level technical reports for client requests and compliance.
• Oversee inventory planning and spare parts availability to minimize disruptions.
• Track service tickets, escalate delays, and ensure closure within SLA.
• Plan and supervise special technical projects with clients and teams.
• Ensure compliance with QSHE standards (ISO 9001/14001/45001) and safety norms.
