Job summary

ENGIE Malaysia in Cyberjaya seeks a Plant Manager for a Large Scale Solar Renewable project. You will lead the project from development through commissioning, coordinating engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires an electrical/mechanical engineering background with 10+ years in industry, including 5+ years in renewable or solar projects and at least 6 years as PM/Construction Manager on large-scale solar

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with extensive industry experience.
• Experience in power renewables or solar plant projects with international exposure.
• Minimum 6 years in project/ construction management for large-scale solar projects (≥50 MWac).
• Experience with Malaysian authorities (SEDA, MIDA, Energy Commission, TNB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Large Scale Solar project from development to commissioning, ensuring technical, contractual, financial success.
• Manage project team, EPCCs, suppliers and stakeholders to meet HSE, quality, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with ENGIE SEA, ENGIE APAC and authorities for project governance and approvals.
• Oversee risk, contracts,Permitting and critical path activities across the project lifecycle.
