Job summary

Hexa Business in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced QA professional to test applications, APIs, and middleware in a banking environment. You will design test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and contribute to performance testing and framework development.

The role requires strong analytical skills, independence, and the ability to work in a cross-cultural team, with adherence to IT and SDLC standards. Degree in CS/IS is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on testing experience in functional and non-functional testing within Banking Domain.
• Experience in performance testing and test result analysis.
• Proficient in designing, developing and executing automation test scripts.
• Experience in developing and reusing test frameworks.
• Familiar with HP ALM and defect logging, tracking, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Test applications, web services and APIs for data transformation and backend validation.
• Create test estimations, plans and strategies for functional and non-functional testing.
• Create and execute manual, automation and performance tests for middleware applications.
• Participate in defect management using HPALM: logging, tracking, retesting and reporting.
• Take ownership of tasks as directed and ensure adherence to IT and SDLC standards.

• Responsible for testing applications, Web Services, APIs for data transformation and backend validation.
• Create test estimation, test plan and test strategy for functional and non- functional testing
• Create and execute manual, automation and performance tests for middleware applications
• Part of defect management team for defect logging, tracking, retesting and reporting using HPALM
• Assume responsibility for tasks as directed by supervisors
• Ensure compliance to IT standards, SDLC standards, company policies and procedures.

Key Skills

• At least 5 years' of hands on working experience in functional and non- functional testing in Banking Domain
• Knowledge and hands on experience in Performance testing and report analysis
• Experienced in designing, developing and running automation test scripts
• Experienced in developing test frameworks and reusing the existing one
• Experienced in tools like - SoapUI, Postman, HP UFT, HP LoadRunner, Eclipse, JMeter, CA DevTest
• Basic Knowledge of HP ALM
• Knowledge of programming language like C, C#, VBScript and JAVA
