Job summary

Oriental Fastech Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Software Test Engineer to plan, develop, and execute testing for new projects and product development. You will work with software developers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure functionality, reliability and quality before deployment.

The role involves creating test plans, executing functional/integration/system tests, identifying defects, and supporting automated testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Software Eng/IT/Elec/ET

Responsibilities

Plan, develop and execute software testing activities for new projects and product development.
Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts and scenarios based on project requirements.
Perform functional, integration, system, regression and performance testing.
Identify, document and track defects until closure.
Analyze test results and report on software quality and project status.
Collaborate with developers, engineers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues.
Support automated testing where applicable and maintain test documentation.
Verify and validate software changes, enhancements and bug fixes.
Ensure testing activities meet project specs, standards and procedures.
Support UAT and other validation activities as required.
Monitor quality metrics and suggest process improvements.
Coordinate with R&D, Production, QA and IT teams.
