Job summary

EntryPass is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Malaysia to plan, prepare and execute test cases and scenarios across software, mobile apps, and hardware environments. You will identify and document defects, retest fixes and collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and ensure quality before release.

Responsibilities include working closely with QA, development and product teams, providing clear defect reports, and supporting testing during setup, deployment and post-deployment stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals (SDLC/STLC).
• Hands-on experience in bug retesting and end-to-end testing.
• Familiar with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla or Azure DevOps.
• Familiar with GitHub.

Familiar with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla or Azure DevOps.

Familiar with GitHub.

Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or edge cases.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

A good team player with a proactive and responsible attitude.
