Job summary

Exact Asia Malaysia, part of Exact, is seeking a Software Quality Engineer in Melaka to drive automation testing across cloud-based solutions. You will interpret product specs, design and execute test plans, and contribute to an automation framework within a SCRUM team.

The role emphasizes functional and load testing, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a growth-friendly environment with flexible learning and global exposure.

Qualifications

• Background in development or experience in test automation (coded UI in C#) is advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years of test automation experience.
• Experience with MSTest, Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow and Gherkin.
• Agile/SCRUM experience.
• Willing to learn and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

As a SCRUM team member, you assure the quality of our innovative cloud solutions, based on so-called user stories, you interpret the product specifications and develop comprehensive test design/plan to perform functional and load testing. You also

• Involve in design and maintain an automation framework for application functional and regression testing;

You will be joining a SCRUM team in the Technology Department which consist of friendly, helpful and enthusiastic group of people from diversified background and gender. They are known for software development by using best practices and structured framework. Asking for help if necessary and offering help if possible is part of their DNA.

• Background in development or experience in test automation such as coded UI in C# will be an added advantage;
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Automation testing tool (e.g. MSTest, Selenium webdriver, specflow, Gherkin );
• Agile adaptability; you love the Agile way of working, know when to challenge existing processes, propose improvements;
• Have empathy while being a bit of a rebel personality;
• Are inquisitive (spotter, finder, discoverer); willing to learn, grow and share what has been learned;
• A minimum of four years’ experience in different kinds of test design techniques and test methods;
• The drive to contribute to the highest level of quality;
• Evaluate situations both from a high-level perspective as well as in detail.
