Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced QA Team Lead to spearhead QA activities across software development projects. You will define testing strategies, manage QA resources, and ensure high-quality software delivery throughout the SDLC from planning to release.

We expect 6–10 years of QA experience and 2–3 years in leadership, with hands-on skills in SQL, API testing, and QA tools. Location is Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, with a fixed contract of 1 year.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of Software QA experience.
• 2–3 years of QA Team Lead/leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team.
• Define test strategies, plans, timelines, and risk mitigation.
• Review test scenarios, test cases, and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Coordinate Functional, Integration, System, Regression, UAT, Performance, and Security Testing.
• Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution.
• Collaborate with Developers, BAs, Product Owners, and Project Managers.
• Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, and release readiness.
• Drive QA process improvement and test automation practices.

• Understanding of CI/CD and Risk Management.
• Experience with enterprise-scale applications and multiple projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
