Job summary

Bytecenture Consulting Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Software Quality Assurance Engineer focused on payment testing to strengthen our QA team. You will design and execute test cases, perform manual testing on web and mobile apps, and collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure product quality.

We value a Bachelor’s degree, at least 1 year QA experience, familiarity with Jira/TestRail, SQL basics, and API testing tools like Postman.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Familiar with QA methodologies, SDLC, and tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
• Basic understanding of SQL, API testing tools (e.g., Postman) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work well in a collaborative environment.
• Required languages: English and Mandarin (Fluent in both written and spoken) for direct communication with China-based clients.
