Job summary

NEXT Ventures is a global fintech group powering traders with trusted software and platforms across multiple regions. The SQA Lead will own software quality for trading platforms, dashboards and payments, building a QA function that ensures stability and security in real-time releases.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product and DevOps to bake quality into development and ship confidently at scale.

Your Role in Our Mission

As SQA Lead, you will own software quality across our trading platforms, dashboards and payment flows. You will build and lead the QA function, set the testing strategy, and make sure every release is stable, secure and ready for traders who depend on us in real time. You will partner closely with Engineering, Product and DevOps to make quality part of how we build, not a gate at the end.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Define and own the end-to-end QA strategy, standards and processes across web, mobile and API products.
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of manual and automation QA engineers; set goals, review work and build capability.
• Design and scale test automation frameworks (UI, API, regression) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive functional, regression, integration, performance and security testing for high-volume, real-time trading systems.
• Own release readiness: test planning, go/no-go criteria, defect triage and post-release quality reviews.
• Define and report quality metrics (defect leakage, test coverage, automation rate, escaped bugs) to engineering leadership.
• Work with Product and Engineering on acceptance criteria and shift-left testing from the requirement stage.
• Evaluate and introduce QA tools that improve speed, coverage and reliability.

What You Bring

• 7+ years in software quality assurance, including 2+ years leading a QA team.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or Appium.
• Solid API testing experience with Postman, REST Assured or similar.
• Experience embedding automated tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or Java).
• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, k6 or Gatling.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery and test management tools (Jira, Xray, TestRail or similar).
• Clear communicator who can push back on releases with data, not opinion.

X-Factor

• Experience testing fintech, trading, brokerage or payment platforms.
• Familiarity with trading platforms or APIs such as MT4/MT5, cTrader or Match-Trader.
• Exposure to security testing (OWASP) and compliance-driven QA.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• Experience building a QA function from the ground up in a fast-growing company.
