Job summary

MHA Consultancy Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead QA across the full software development lifecycle for web and mobile apps. You will drive end-to-end testing, risk identification during reviews and mentor junior QA staff to ensure quality releases.

You will design tests, coordinate plans, execute functional, API and UAT testing, track defects and report progress to management, collaborating with Product, PM and Engineering teams to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA / Software Testing experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies.
• Experience in web and mobile application testing. Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman.
• Familiar with SQL/database testing.
• Strong experience in test case design, bug tracking and regression testing.
• Good analytical, problemsolving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Experience leading or mentoring QA team members is an advantage.
• Experience in fintech / financial / payment / loan systems is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

The Senior QA Engineer will lead software quality assurance activities across the entire development lifecycle for web and mobile applications. Key responsibilities include end-to-end test planning and execution (functional, regression, API, and UAT), proactive risk identification during requirement reviews, managing defect lifecycles, and supporting production releases. The role requires continuous process improvement, mentoring junior QA staff, and serving as a quality advocate across cross-functional teams (Product, Project Management, and Engineering).

Job Descriptions
