Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Software QA Engineer specialized in Mobile and API testing to support product quality for digital experiences that drive sales revenue. You will collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure features meet requirements and maintain efficient test coverage across mobile apps and backend APIs.

The role requires 5–6 years of QA experience, strong API testing skills (Postman), scripting/programming ability, and familiarity with CI/CD within Agile and Waterfall

Qualifications

• 5-6 years previous working experience in software QA including Test Planning, Test Case Design, Defect Management and Reporting.
• Must have Mobile testing experience.
• Must have back-end (API level testing) - Integrated API & API testing (e.g: Postman).
• Experience in Scripting/Programming.
• Familiarity with CI/CD.
• Good at Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Good Communication skills.
• Test Automation knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality products that fulfil business requirements.

• Coordinate with business units, system providers and vendors to review, agree and execute test plan.
• Evaluate, record and report test results.
• Learn on Test Automation Engineers and maintain test automation frameworks, test automation test suites and test harnesses.
• Work closely with the QA Manager and Management to implement QA Test strategies, and to work in initiatives that improve processes and/or procedures that contribute to performance effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Provide technical support and guidance in test automation for the projects team you work on to ensure successful delivery of the same.

Software QA Engineer - Mobile - API Testing

To support the company from IT touchpoints in implementing new products and features and manage existing products to ensure a smooth functioning of applications that provides good digital experience to users that will translate into sales conversion and increase revenue from the Digital channel. You will be responsible for quality assurance and to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of test coverage for the client's product suites. This is achieved through good experience on the software testing space

Key Accountability
