Job summary

IX Telecom is seeking a Software Project Manager in Cyberjaya, Selangor to lead end-to-end software development projects with a strong Business Analyst mindset. You will ensure that business requirements are understood, questions are asked, and developers are followed up to deliver solutions that meet business needs.

The role emphasizes managing timelines, meetings, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery, with close collaboration across stakeholders and teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in software project management or related roles.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and modern project management methods.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate into user stories and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Manage software projects end-to-end from requirements to deployment.
• Plan timelines, milestones, deliverables and priorities.
• Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with developers, users and management.
• Track progress and follow up on outstanding items.
• Identify risks, blockers and dependencies early and escalate.
• Coordinate UAT, bug fixing and deployment activities.
• Ensure proper testing in staging/UAT before production.
• Maintain project trackers, status reports and documentation.
• Provide management with regular project updates.
• Manage scope changes and proper documentation of requirements.
• Facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
