We're Hiring: Software Implementation & Technical Support Engineer - APAC

CNS Worldwide Executive Search is looking for a Software Implementation & Technical Support Engineer on behalf of our client, a specialised American-French technology company providing environmental monitoring and compliance solutions to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory and medical device industries.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technical professional with experience in onsite software installation, system configuration, troubleshooting and customer support.

Based in Petaling Jaya, you will join an international APAC team, implementing software solutions at customer sites, providing technical support and ensuring successful system deployment across the region.

What You'll Be Doing

• Travel to customer sites across APAC for software installation, implementation, configuration and technical support.
• Install, configure and deploy software applications within customer IT environments.
• Support system integration with hardware devices, sensors, data loggers and environmental monitoring equipment.
• Troubleshoot software, connectivity, network and system performance issues onsite and remotely.
• Configure user accounts, permissions, alarms, reports and application settings.
• Assist with software upgrades, updates, testing and system validation.
• Work with customer IT teams to resolve installation, compatibility and configuration issues.
• Provide technical training and guidance to customers on software functionality.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams across APAC, Europe and the US.
• Develop technical documentation, installation guides and troubleshooting resources.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software implementation, application support, technical support or field-based IT services.
• Proven experience installing and configuring software applications at customer sites.
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems, software deployment and system configuration.
• Familiarity with networking, TCP/IP, databases (SQL) and client-server applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across software, connectivity and integrated hardware systems.
• Experience working directly with customer IT departments and end users.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues and provide effective onsite and remote support.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English.
• Willingness to travel approximately 30-40% across APAC.
• Self-motivated, adaptable and comfortable working independently at customer sites.
