Job summary

UR Klinik in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop, customize and improve our internal systems, including POS, scheduling, inventory and reporting applications.

You will strengthen our digital environment with software and system innovation, ensuring compliance and audit readiness while collaborating with clinical and non-technical staff. Mandarin skills are an advantage in our diverse team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional software development or system customization experience.
• Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
• Familiarity with MySQL, SQL Server, and APIs.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Team player with builder's mindset and adaptability.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop, customize and improve UR Klinik's internal systems, including POS, scheduling, inventory and reporting applications.

What you will do

Your mission is to strengthen our digital environment through software and system innovation, guided by four key pillars:

• Keep our IT policies alive, followed, and audit-ready.
• Ensure software development and customization meet compliance standards.
• Build, customize, and maintain internal applications (e.g., POS system, scheduling, reporting, inventory).
• Respond quickly to incidents, but also proactively enhance system performance.

Cybersecurity & Data Protection

• Embed secure coding practices in every solution.
• Protect what matters: backups, access, passwords, logs, and digital hygiene.
• Reduce dependency on external vendors by developing in-house solutions.
• Ensure internal support stays top-quality, with clear documentation and training.
