Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, or related
- Solid Python fundamentals and eagerness to learn new libraries
- Some computer vision or ML exposure — coursework, final-year project, internship, or personal projects
- Curiosity about hardware and a careful, detail-focused approach
- Hands-on OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow (academic or hobby projects count)
- Experience with edge devices — NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, or similar single-board computers
- A camera, image, or model project you can show us
- Git; any electronics, PLC, or manufacturing exposure
Responsibilities
- Build Python vision pipelines for defect detection and quality inspection (OpenCV, NumPy)
- Help train and evaluate CV models — classification, detection, segmentation
- Deploy models to edge hardware like NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi
- Prepare datasets, run experiments, support camera and lighting setup
- Test and validate systems on real parts, including on-site commissioning
- Learn how vision connects to industrial control systems (PLCs, SCADA) — we’ll teach this
