Job summary

Experian in Malaysia is seeking a skilled full stack software engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy modern web applications and services. Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate requirements into practical technical solutions.

You will build UI, APIs, and data layer components, write secure, maintainable code, and develop automated tests. The role emphasizes Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and AI-assisted development tools in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience with full stack development.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Java backend, RESTful APIs, and ORM technologies.
• Familiar with Agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and test automation.
• Experience deploying to AWS/Azure/GCP and working with NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into technical solutions with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications and services.

Role Overview

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support, and Consulting teams to deliver business outcomes.
• You will leverage modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.

Experience and Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience, including full stack application development.
• Experience with:
  • JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Java backend development
  • RESTful API development
  • ORM technologies such as Hibernate or JPA
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and test automation.
• Experience with source control and development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Experience with a non-relational / noSQL database such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
• Experience deploying code in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments
