Job summary

INTOTEST Sdn Bhd is seeking a software engineer to contribute to the full software development life cycle for intelligent robotic systems. You will test, debug and maintain machine software to ensure compliance with specifications, and deliver reliable automation solutions.

You will work as part of a team to meet deadlines, provide technical support at client sites, and perform ad-hoc tasks as needed by the Manager. A Diploma/Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Intelligent Robotic, Electrical & Electronic, or Information Technology.
• Knowledge in Robot Programming, PLC Programming, Turbo C, C++, C#, and GUI is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire software development life cycle from understanding machine specifications and customer needs to full release of the product.
• Perform testing, debugging and maintenance of machine software and ensure it meets machine specifications.
• Ensure developed modules meet expectations, quality standards and schedules.
• Provide professional technical support to the developed applications at client sites and internally.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager.

Job description

Perform testing, debugging and maintenance of machine software and ensure it continues to function normally and meeting the machine specification.

Ensure that the developed modules meet expectations, quality standards and within schedule.

Provide professional technical support to the developed applications (both internally and at client site).

Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by Manager from time to time.

Job Requirement:

Candidate must possess a least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Intelligent Robotic/Electrical & Electronic/Information Technology or equivalent.

Knowledge / experience in Robot Programming, PLC Programming, Turbo C, C++, C#, and GUI.

A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Critical analysis and problem-solving skills.
