Job summary

Aemulus Corporation Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a software engineer to design, develop, test, deploy and document software for semiconductor testers and manufacturing systems. You will build demo packages and interactive presentations, while debugging issues and delivering clean, reliable code.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to UI usability and design discussions, and provide on-site customer support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent; electronic engineering background is a plus
• Fresh graduates encouraged; candidates with around 2 years of hands-on software development experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming design, software architecture, design patterns, and SDLC
• Knowledge or hands-on experience in C# and .NET
• Familiarity with WPF, WinForms, GDI+, SQL, C/C++ or C++/CLI (STL a plus)
• Experience with software version control and collaborative development practices is an added advantage
• Experience in semiconductor testing and manufacturing systems is an added advantage
• Detail-oriented, curious about emerging technologies, and eager to learn and explore new ideas
• A confident communicator with good written and verbal communication skills
• An Independent self-starter who's just as comfortable solo as working with a team

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and document software for semiconductor testers and manufacturing systems.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues by researching solutions and driving them to closure independently or collaboratively.
• Develop user-friendly graphical user interfaces by applying usability principles and creative design thinking.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reliable code in accordance with established software development practices.
• Participate in software design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply usability principles and a creative eye to graphical user interface design.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements and ideas into effective software solutions.
• Provide on‑site customer support when required.
