Job summary

ABeam Consulting Malaysia in Petaling Jaya seeks an IT professional to design, develop, implement, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online, and Dataverse. You will build AI-powered solutions, create intelligent workflows, and integrate with REST APIs across Microsoft 365 services.

You will gather requirements, train users, provide production support, and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in software development, automation, or digital solution implementation.
• Experience in Power Platform, SharePoint Online development, and enterprise app development is advantageous.
• Experience in AI solution development, AI agents, Copilot technologies, chatbot implementation, and digital transformation initiatives is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain business apps and digital solutions using MS tools.
• Build and maintain AI-powered applications, agents, copilots, chatbots, and automation solutions.
• Develop Dataverse data models, tables, relationships, and security roles.
• Create intelligent workflows and automation to improve efficiency.
• Integrate apps with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, REST APIs, and third parties.
• Gather requirements and propose practical solutions; implement design, coding, testing, deployment, and training.
• Provide production support and lifecycle management for solutions.

Job description

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain business applications and digital solutions using SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dataverse, Microsoft 365, and related technologies.
• Build, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications, AI agents, copilots, chatbots, and automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, and other company-approved AI tools.
• Develop and manage Microsoft Dataverse data models, tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and integrations to support business applications.
• Develop intelligent workflows and process automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and business productivity.
• Integrate business applications with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Dataverse, databases, REST APIs, and third-party systems.
• Gather and analyse user requirements, identify business challenges, and recommend practical application or automation solutions.
• Implement solutions, including system design, coding, testing, deployment, user training, and production support.
• Maintain solutions through troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, enhancements, upgrades, and solution lifecycle management.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI and related reporting technologies.
• Provide technical support to users experiencing issues with hardware, software, business applications, Microsoft 365, and network systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, applications, and endpoint devices.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, administration, and support of network, server, cloud, and IT infrastructure environments.
• Support infrastructure maintenance activities, including file servers, application servers, network devices, cloud services, backup systems, and related IT platforms.
• Coordinate with HQ and Global IT teams on server maintenance, cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation, patch management, software releases, testing, investigations, and critical IT issues, including participation in relevant global IT meetings.
• Serve as an ISO Officer and support Information Security Management System (ISMS) implementation, ISO 27001 compliance activities, risk assessments, internal and external audits, security awareness activities, and corrective action tracking.
• Maintain technical documentation, user guides, operating procedures, system architecture documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies, AI solutions, automation opportunities, and digital transformation initiatives that support business objectives.
• Assist the IT Support team with ad hoc operational requests, user support, project implementation, office IT setup, hardware deployment, troubleshooting, and other IT-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 2 - 4 years of working experience in software development, application development, automation, or digital solution implementation.
• Experience in Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint Online development, business process automation, and enterprise application development will be an added advantage.
• Experience in AI solution development, AI agents, Copilot technologies, chatbot implementation, and digital transformation initiatives will be an added advantage.
