Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Software Developer to build, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications within a dynamic manufacturing environment in Malaysia. You will support system integrations, data exchange, and practical IT solutions while collaborating with users across departments.

The role requires hands-on coding across C#, .NET/ASP.NET, Java, Python, PHP, and JavaScript, with a focus on database and ERP integrations and quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• Hands-on experience with one or more listed technologies is essential.
• Experience with databases and system integrations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement software applications.
• Maintain and support existing applications, databases, and programmes.
• Gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
• Collaborate with users to identify improvements and automation opportunities.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide user support.
• Develop integrations between internal apps, ERP systems, and other platforms.
• Work with APIs and interfaces to enable data exchange.
• Assist with database maintenance and data requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and system specifications.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, security, and best practices.

Requirements

Must-have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Hands‑on experience in one or more of the following technologies: C#, .NET / ASP.NET, Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript.
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
• Understanding of software development, debugging, and application support.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise applications and business systems.
• Exposure to ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with users from different departments.
• Ability to work independently as well as within an IT team.

Nice-to-have

• Fresh graduates with strong programming skills and relevant internship or project experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in API development, web applications, or system integration.
• Experience supporting applications within a manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise environment.
