Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd invites an experienced Software Developer to join our Labuan team. You will develop, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications, support system integrations, and deliver IT solutions within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

We are seeking candidates with 2–3 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and hands-on skills in C#, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, and JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Legal right to work in Malaysia (visa sponsorship not available).
• Hands-on experience with one or more listed technologies (C#, .NET, Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript).
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement software applications.
• Maintain and support existing applications, databases, and programs.
• Gather and analyze user requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
• Collaborate with users to identify system improvements and automation opportunities.
• Develop integrations between internal applications and ERP systems via APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance in-house business applications to meet organisational needs.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and implement software applications.
• Maintain and support existing applications, databases, and programmes.
• Gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into effective IT solutions.
• Collaborate with users and business departments to identify system improvements and automation opportunities.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support to users.
• Develop and maintain integrations between internal applications, ERP systems, and other business platforms.
• Work with APIs and system interfaces to support data exchange between applications.
• Support database maintenance and application-related data requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, system specifications, user guides, and application documentation.
• Ensure applications comply with internal IT standards, security requirements, and development best practices.
• Participate in application enhancements, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
Must-have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies: C#, .NET / ASP.NET, Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript.
• Good knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL.
• Understanding of software development, debugging, and application support.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise applications and business systems.
• Exposure to ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with users from different departments.
• Ability to work independently as well as within an IT team.

Nice-to-have:

• Fresh graduates with strong programming skills and relevant internship or project experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in API development, web applications, or system integration.
• Experience supporting applications within a manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise environment.
