Job summary

Genting Malaysia is seeking a dynamic Executive - Social Media to lead content ideation, planning, execution and monitoring across its social platforms in Malaysia.

You will collaborate with content creators for campaigns and live-host sessions to drive social commerce, develop monthly content calendars to boost engagement and conversions, and manage community interactions through replies to comments and direct messages. Stay ahead of trends and report insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or equivalent.
• 2-3 years in social media marketing, content, and handling company accounts.
• Excellent writing and video editing skills.
• Experience with social listening tools and reporting.
• Experience in FMCG and Agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, plan, execute, and monitor social media content.
• Collaborate with content creators for campaigns and hosting.
• Create social content and act as live host for social commerce.
• Develop monthly content calendars to drive engagement and conversions.
• Manage community by responding to comments and DMs.
• Stay updated on trends, tools, and report upwards.
• Generate social media reports on fan growth, engagement, inquiries and leads.
• Liaise with agencies, media agencies, designers, and partners.
• Provide clear briefs and manage deliverables and approvals.
• Other assignments by HOD.
