Job summary

Carousell Group is seeking a Marketing Content Intern to join Refash's social media team in Kuala Lumpur. You will work with the Marketing team to plan and execute content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Facebook and the website, and help drive engaging, on-brand content.

The role requires comfort on camera, proficiency with CapCut or similar editing tools, and strong English communication, with Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (not mandatory).
Experience with at least two social platforms (Instagram, Xiaohongshu, TikTok, Facebook).
Skilled in photo and video editing tools (CapCut).
Comfortable in front of the camera for content creation.
Strong English; Mandarin is a plus to support Xiaohongshu.
Available for full-time work for at least 6 months starting March 2027.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute content calendars with the Marketing team.
Spot social trends and develop ideas with viral potential.
Create engaging social content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Facebook, and website.
Lead community management on TikTok (respond to comments and DMs).
Develop briefs, copywriting for social posts, ads, emails, and monthly calendar.
Generate leads for partnerships with KOLs, UGC creators, and brands.
Leverage AI tools to brainstorm concepts and drafts.
Support other marketing initiatives as needed.
