Job summary

Corvan, a leading Malaysian home appliances brand, is seeking a Marketing Intern to support social media content creation, especially short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and XiaoHongShu.

You'll collaborate with the marketing and e-commerce teams, craft captions and scripts, research trends, and experiment with CapCut and Canva while using AI tools to boost ideation and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Branding, Mass Communication or related field.
Able to speak and write in English, Malay and Mandarin.
Strong interest in content creation, especially short-form videos.
Able to use CapCut, Canva or similar editing platforms.
Comfortable using AI tools for content ideas, copywriting and workflow support.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, creating and executing engaging social media content, with a strong focus on video content.
Create short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts.
Write and edit captions, scripts and content ideas while following Corvan’s brand tone.
Research social media trends, competitor content and industry updates.
Assist in shooting, editing and scheduling social media posts.
Create and edit simple graphics and videos using CapCut, Canva or similar platforms.
Use AI tools to support content ideation, copywriting, scripting and workflow efficiency.
Track and analyse basic social media performance to improve future content.
Support audience engagement by replying to comments and messages under supervision.
Work closely with the marketing and e-commerce teams on campaign and promotional materials.
