Job summary

GC Hair Studio is seeking a creative Content Creator & Digital Marketing Executive to manage video content, ads, and customer inquiries on-site in Johor Bahru. The role requires regular filming and coordination with hairstylists, with a strong emphasis on brand development and sales-driven content.

The position is full-time and on-site, with opportunities to grow into senior marketing roles. Experience in short-form video and social platforms such as TikTok and Instagram is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in short-form video shooting and editing.
• Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software.
• Able to write engaging scripts, captions and sales-oriented content.

Responsibilities

• Plan marketing campaigns, promotional ideas and monthly content calendars.
• Write video scripts, captions, advertisements and talking-point scripts.
• Film customer transformations, Before & After results, salon services and daily activities.
• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and XiaoHongShu.
• Add subtitles, music, effects and suitable transitions to videos.
• Direct and assist hairstylists in recording talking-head and promotional videos.
• Appear in videos when required
• Introduce and promote the salon, services, offers and customer results
• Build and develop the GC Hair Studio brand and Founder IP
• Set up, manage and optimise Meta and TikTok advertising campaigns
• Monitor advertising results, leads, cost per lead, deposits and sales conversions
• Reply promptly to WhatsApp and social media enquiries
• Explain services and prices, follow up with customers, collect deposits and arrange appointments
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, deposits and advertising sources
• Work closely with the salon team to produce regular and sales-oriented content

GC Hair Studio is looking for a creative and results-driven Content Creator & Digital Marketing Executive to manage our video content, digital advertising, customer enquiries and brand development.

This is a full-time, on-site position. Work from home is not available because regular filming, content production and coordination with our hairstylists are required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIREMENTS

• * Experience in short-form video shooting and video editing
• * Proficient in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software
• * Able to write engaging scripts, captions and sales-oriented content
• * Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and XiaoHongShu
• * Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager or TikTok Ads Manager
• * Comfortable communicating with customers and closing bookings
• * Able to speak and write Mandarin; English and Bahasa Malaysia are an advantage
• * Creative, responsible, organised and able to work independently
• * Comfortable working inside a hair salon and coordinating with customers and hairstylists
• * Willing to appear on camera when required
• * Must be based in Johor Bahru and able to work on-site
• * Applicants must provide a portfolio or examples of videos and advertisements previously created

REMUNERATION

• * Basic salary: RM4,000–RM5,000, depending on experience and proven ability
