Job summary

Carousell Malaysia is seeking a talented Social Media Content Creator to manage and grow our luxury brand's social presence. You will craft promotional content, plan campaigns, and drive engagement across channels such as Instagram, TikTok, and Xiao Hong Shu.

You will brainstorm with the Luxury marketing team, execute video and static content, and post daily to hit KPIs while staying on-brand and culturally attuned.

Qualifications

• Interest and passion for the luxury industry.
• Personality that engages people and enjoys meeting new ones.
• Minimum 3 years as a creative, content strategist, or content producer.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut or similar mobile editing tools.
• Experience in videography, photography and scriptwriting.
• Strong understanding of major social platforms (IG, TikTok, FB).
• Strong sense of cultural trends and conversations.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

About the role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Social Media Content Creator to join our team. You will be responsible for managing our social media platforms, creating promotional content, creating brand awareness, growing the page and increasing engagement.

You will:

• Produce branded content for Carousell Luxury’s various channels for marketing purposes in required formats, mainly our IG, TikTok, Xiao Hong Shu and other marketing channels
• Brainstorm and conceptualise ideas together with the Luxury marketing team:
  • Strategise and plan content calendar
  • For videos, you will conceptualise and execute your ideas
  • For static content, you will conceptualise ideas and execute visual assets
• Collaborate with Luxury marketing team to optimise and improve content to hit KPIs
• Post content on our social platforms on a daily basis

Qualifications

• Interest and passion for the luxury industry
• Personality that likes to engage people and loves meeting new people
• At least 3 years experience as a creative, content strategist, or content producer
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, mobile editing softwares like CapCut
• Experience in videography, photography and scriptwriting
• Good understanding of all social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.
• A strong pulse of cultural conversations and understanding of trends
