ABANG USEDCAR SDN. BHD. is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to join our marketing team in Puchong, Selangor. You will develop, create and manage content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and LinkedIn to build brand awareness and drive customer engagement in the used car market.

This full-time role requires 2–3+ years of experience, strong graphic design and video editing skills, and the ability to collaborate with the marketing team. Proficiency in English and Malay is preferred.

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Content Creator to join the marketing and communications team at ABANG USEDCAR SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in our Puchong, Selangor office. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, creating and managing engaging content across our social media platforms to build brand awareness, drive customer engagement and support our business objectives in the used car industry. You will play a vital part in shaping our digital presence and communicating our brand story to our target audience.

Key responsibilities

• Create, curate and manage compelling social media content across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and LinkedIn
• Develop and implement a strategic content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns and business objectives
• Produce high-quality visual and written content including graphics, videos, captions and posts that resonate with our target audience
• Monitor social media trends, competitor activity and audience insights to inform content strategy and optimisation
• Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages and customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Analyse social media performance metrics and provide regular reports on content engagement, reach and conversion
• Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
• Stay up to date with social media best practices and platform algorithm changes to maximise content visibility
• Support the development and execution of social media campaigns and promotional activities
• Manage user-generated content and brand partnerships to enhance community engagement

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Social Media Content Creator or similar role within the marketing communications field, ideally 2-3 years or more
• Exceptional creativity and ability to develop original, engaging and on-brand content ideas
• Strong proficiency in social media platforms, content management tools and analytics software
• Advanced skills in graphic design and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends and best practices across various platforms
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining high quality standards and meeting deadlines
• Knowledge of the automotive industry or used car market is advantageous
• Proficiency in both English and Malay is preferred
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
