Job summary

COLRIX BEAUTY STUDIO in Malaysia is seeking a creative Social Media Assistant to join our team. You will plan, create and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Xiaohongshu, producing photos, graphics and short-form videos plus captions that align with brand direction.

You will learn and contribute across the full content creation process, collaborating with the team and staying ahead of trends.

Qualifications

• Social media management and content creation abilities.
• Familiarity with short-form video editing and basic copywriting.
• Experience or familiarity with major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).

Responsibilities

• Plan, create and schedule social media content
• Manage and maintain social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Xiaohongshu
• Create engaging photos, graphics and visual content
• Shoot and edit short-form videos such as Reels, TikTok, Xiaohongshu and FB
• Assist with content planning and brainstorming creative ideas
• Write simple and engaging captions for social media posts
• Monitor social media trends and develop relevant content ideas
• Assist with daily social media engagement and basic audience interaction
• Support promotional campaigns and marketing activities
• Work closely with the team to ensure content follows the brand direction
• Perform other social media and content-related tasks assigned by the supervisor

We are looking for a creative, proactive and enthusiastic Social Media Assistant to join our team.

If you enjoy social media, content creation, photography, video editing and coming up with creative ideas, we would love to hear from you!

You will work closely with our team to create engaging content and support our social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Xiaohongshu (XHS).

Key Responsibilities

Plan, create and schedule social media content

Manage and maintain social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Xiaohongshu

Create engaging photos, graphics and visual content

Shoot and edit short-form videos such as Reels, TikTok, Xiaohongshu and FB

Assist with content planning and brainstorming creative ideas

Write simple and engaging captions for social media posts

Monitor social media trends and develop relevant content ideas

Assist with daily social media engagement and basic audience interaction

Support promotional campaigns and marketing activities

Work closely with the team to ensure content follows the brand direction

Perform other social media and content-related tasks assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

Must be able to read & write Chinese, English & BM

Passionate about social media and content creation

Creative, responsible and willing to learn

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work independently as well as in a team

Basic knowledge of social media platforms

Basic photo and video editing skills

Knowledge of Canva is an advantage

Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Xiaohongshu

Basic knowledge of CapCut or other video editing software is an advantage

Previous experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing is an advantage
