Job summary

Cheil Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a meticulous Social Operations Executive for a 6-month contract to support Samsung’s global social media operations. The role focuses on content review, quality control, and end-to-end content workflow management across Singapore, Vietnam and Korea, ensuring strict adherence to brand and platform guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields.
• Min. of 1-year experience in social media operations, content management, quality assurance or other detail-heavy digital role (e-commerce).
• Exceptional attention to detail. You should notice inconsistencies, typos, incorrect formatting and missing information.
• Strong written English, with the ability to identify and correct grammatical, spelling, punctuation and copy issues.
• Comfortable working with detailed guidelines, checklists and repetitive process without compromising accuracy.
• Able to remain organized and calm under pressure while managing tight turnaround times.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Familiarity with major social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube and LinkedIn.
• Able to commence in October 2026 for a 6-month contract, with potential extension based on performance.
• Willing to work overtime as required by the business.
• Eligible for applicable statutory contributions in accordance with employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate social media content before publication, checking against platform, content and brand guidelines.
• Manage end-to-end content requests from content teams, ensuring all social media outputs meet best practices within agreed timelines.
• Review and validate content for brand alignment, platform suitability, compliance, and quality standards before publication.
• Write, edit and adapt copy where required, with a strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation and tone of voice.
• Coordinate closely with teams in Singapore, Vietnam and Korea to ensure seamless execution of content workflows with no gaps or errors.
• Maintain accurate trackers and documentation, including content status, approvals, assets and other operational information.
• Organise validation reports, content updates and assets systematically for efficient retrieval, reporting and future reuse.
• Support community management and engagement activities, including monitoring and identifying relevant KOL, partner and media content opportunities where required.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail to safeguard against content inaccuracies, permission issues, or asset mismanagement.
