EC-Council Global Services in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking an Intern - SOC Reporting Analyst to support the SOC team. You will assist in collecting and analyzing data from security tools, preparing routine reports, and contributing to incident trend analysis.

The role focuses on improving reporting processes, staying updated on threats, and collaborating with SOC colleagues to deliver meaningful security insights. On-site position offering hands-on exposure for a security-focused intern.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity or related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, network protocols, and threats.
• Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus).
• Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux and common network protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly security reports.
• Collect, analyze and interpret data from various security tools and systems.
• Support the SOC team in identifying and analyzing incident trends.
• Participate in the creation of incident response reports and documentation.
• Work closely with all SOC dept to gather information and insights for reporting purposes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting process and tools.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
• Assist any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the company.
