Job summary

EC-Council Global Services is seeking a SOC Manager in Kuala Lumpur, On-Site, to lead day-to-day Security Operations Center activities and supervise a team of analysts and engineers. The role focuses on incident management, client delivery, and continuous improvement of SOC capabilities.

The position requires 6–8 years in SOC/cybersecurity operations, strong leadership, and experience with SIEM, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 6–8 years in SOC or cybersecurity operations, including team management.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, incident response, threat intel, threat hunting and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day SOC operations and ensure SLA/KPI compliance.
• Manage SOC team from L1 to L3 and security engineers; mentor and coach.
• Handle incident, change and request management for SOC; report progress and deliverables.
• Develop and refine security operation policies, standards, and runbooks.
• Lead governance, audits and client delivery to ensure high-quality SOC services.
• Support pre-sales and tender activities related to SOC engagements.
