Job summary

ESCATEC Group in Malaysia is seeking an SMT Technician to operate, set up, and monitor SMT production equipment. The role includes troubleshooting minor issues, basic maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Rotation shifts are required.

The candidate should have 1–2 years in SMT or electronics manufacturing, and fresh candidates with relevant technical qualifications or experience may also be considered.

Qualifications

• Must have相关 SMT/ph PCB assembly experience.
• Experience operating SMT equipment incl. printers, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI.
• Able to set up models, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance.
• Able to read and follow work instructions, process specs, and SOPs.
• Willing to work on a rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform line setup, changeovers, and shutdowns per schedule.
• Monitor line throughput and troubleshoot minor machine issues and quality problems.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
• Participate in line improvement activities (5S, Lean, Kaizen).
• Operate SMT and Through-Hole equipment (pick-and-place, reflow, wave solder).
