Job summary

Mezans in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a diligent QC/QA inspector for SMT production. You will perform rigorous quality checks on incoming, in-process, and final stages, focusing on component placement, soldering, polarity, and workmanship.

You will report defects and help implement corrective actions while maintaining accurate records. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently or in a team, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
• Candidates with SMT manufacturing, QC, or QA experience will have an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SMT processes, PCB assembly, or electronic components is preferred.
• Familiarity with IPC standards, quality inspection methods, or measuring equipment will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections for SMT production.
• Inspect PCB assemblies for component placement, soldering quality, polarity, and workmanship.
• Identify, record, and report product defects or non-conforming products.
• Assist in investigating quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure inspection records and quality documentation are properly maintained.
• Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to maintain product quality.
• Follow company quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
