Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a QA/Inspection assistant in Penang. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, with a preference for a background in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities include measuring product dimensions with calipers, gauges, and micrometers, inspecting and testing for conformance, and ensuring instruments are calibrated. You will discuss results with responsible parties, recommend corrective actions, and update inspection data.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
• Background in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are preferable.
• Willingness to perform inspection and testing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Measure dimensions of products using calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
• Discuss inspection results and recommend corrective actions, and follow-up as needed for open corrective actions.
• Inspect, test and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Ensure that the products are compliant to the requirements prior to release to customer.
• Ensure the instruments are calibrated and well maintained.
• Update inspection data and other specification documentation.
• And any other job as assigned by the Leader from time to time
