Job summary

GBM ELECTRONICS (M) SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks a skilled PCB assembly engineer with a strong SMT background to support our production lines.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, with at least 2 years of PCB assembly experience and proficiency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Key duties include programming Panasonic NPM/CM402/CN602 picks, optimizing cycle times, and maintaining SMT equipment such as solder printers and reflow systems.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in PCB assembly with SMT background.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Understand Panasonic Pick & Place machine (NPM/CM402/CN602).
• Programing NPM/CM402/CM602 part data and Pick & Place program.
• Knowing Pick & Place machine cycle time optimization.
• Knowing maintenance Skills on Panasonic Pick & Place machine /DEK solder printer/Heller reflow.

Job description

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in PCB assembly, with a strong background in SMT operations.

Languages:

Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia is required. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in SMT production equipment and technologies (Solder Paste Printer, AOI, SPI, X-ray inspection).

In-depth knowledge of PCB assembly processes and SMT line operations.
