Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Site Warehouse Manager to lead warehousing, storage and distribution at our manufacturing site in Malaysia. You will head the Store and Receiving team, ensuring timely, accurate and efficient operations including receiving, storage, handling, issuing, packing and shipping.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Warehousing or Logistics with 8+ years’ experience in a fast-paced MNC environment, proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP), and strong leadership and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Warehousing, Logistics or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with at least 5 years of leadership in a dynamic MNC manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong communication skills with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong bias for action and results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by coordinating policies and procedures.
• Participate in daily meetings with team and manufacturing colleagues to resolve build plan issues.
• Coach, counsel, and develop warehouse staff; monitor and appraise results.
• Ensure proper handling of controlled materials and compliance with storage requirements.
• Manage inventory levels with physical counts and data reconciliation.
• Lead compliance with trade regulations, ISO and SOX, and drive EHS initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in layout, space management, and material flow.
• Lead in special projects and initiatives; support ISO14001/OHSAS18001 activities.
