Job summary

TID Design (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Inspector to monitor construction sites, ensuring alignment with M&E and ID fit-out specifications and local regulations. You will track progress, document materials, and coordinate with contractors while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent, at least two years of related experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Outstation relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess a Diploma, Professional Certificate, or equivalent in M&E or Construction.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Preferably with experience in M&E and ID fit-out industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project progress at site follows the stipulated project plan/timeline.
• Attend site and prepare project progress updates.
• Check site progress and record all activities and materials used daily.
• Liaise, coordinate, monitor, and inspect progress and quality of work by subordinates and sub-contractors.
• Report to the superior regarding site updates and conditions.
• Ensure work at site complies with safety regulations and standards.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate meetings when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure project progress at site follows the stipulated project plan/timeline.

Attend site and prepare project progress updates.

Check site progress and record all activities and materials used daily.

Liaise, coordinate, monitor, and inspect the progress and quality of work carried out by subordinates, general workers, and nominated sub-contractors.

Report to the superior regarding site updates, status, and conditions.

Ensure that work at site complies with safety regulations and standards.

Attend site meetings and coordinate meetings when necessary.
