Job summary

Pocon Construction Sdn Bhd in Malaysia’s Johor region is seeking a Site Supervisor to assist the Site Manager in supervising all construction works on the project. You will ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and the project plan, while implementing actions from the risk and opportunity assessment.

You will also maintain safety, monitor daily site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure adherence to the quality management system and document control procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a similar capacity; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• To assist the Site Manager to supervise all construction works on the project.
• To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
• To meet client and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• To implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.
• To supervise, monitor and control daily work at the project site and adhere to document control procedure.
• To coordinate and monitor subcontractor's activities at project site.
• To maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.
• To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
• To carry out inspections and tests as per Inspection and Test Plans and use all quality control mechanisms in the quality management system. Results of such to conform to specifications.
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
