BBJ CAPITAL SDN BHD is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. You will supervise site operations, coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers, monitor safety, quality and progress, and prepare site reports.

Requirements include a Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field, 2–3 years in construction or site supervision, and

• Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in construction or site supervision.
• Knowledge of construction methods, site operations and building materials.
• Able to monitor daily site activities and ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Able to coordinate and supervise site workers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Knowledge of site safety requirements and construction regulations.

We are looking for a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities and ensure projects are completed safely on schedule and according to approved specifications.

Key responsibilities

Supervise daily construction and site activities

Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements

Monitor contractor, subcontractor and worker performance at site

Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers regarding site operations and work progress

Ensure site safety requirements and quality standards are complied with at all times

Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates and project documentation

Monitor project schedules and report delays, risks or issues to Management

Review project plans, specifications and identify potential construction issues

Monitor site safety and ensure Occupational Safety and Health requirements are complied with

Ensure inspections, testing, quality assurance and quality control activities are completed accordingly

Report directly to the Project Manager

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and relevant authorities on site-related matters

Willing to travel for work and attend project sites when required

Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors and consultants regarding site matters

Maintain and enforce proper construction standards and quality workmanship at site

Job Requirements

Minimum SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.

Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in construction or site supervision.

Knowledge of construction methods, site operations and building materials.

Able to monitor daily site activities and ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications and project schedules.

Able to coordinate and supervise site workers, subcontractors and suppliers.

Knowledge of site safety requirements and construction regulations.

Able to prepare daily site reports and monitor work progress.

Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Willing to work at the assigned project site and travel when required.

Preferred: Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, sewerage or related construction projects.
