Job summary

GREEN PLUS CONSULTANCY (M) SDN BHD in Malaysia (Selangor) is seeking a Safety Officer to conduct site safety inductions, ensure compliance with the OSH Act, and promote safe work practices across construction sites. You will inspect and rectify unsafe acts, prepare and review safety documentation, and lead safety meetings with site staff and subcontractors to reinforce a culture of safety.

With 3–5 years in construction and a CIDB Green Card, you should be self-motivated, a team player, and able

• Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• CIDB Green Card must be valid.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible and a team player.
• Own transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety induction for new site staff.
• Ensure compliance with OSH Act and related requirements.
• Inspect, investigate and rectify unsafe acts, accidents and conflicts.

Job description

Conduct safety induction for new site staff.

Ensure workplace and site staff comply with the OSH Act and other related requirements at all times.

Inspect, investigate and rectify any unsafe acts, accidents and conflicts at the workplace.

Practice and promote a safe workplace for all site team and contractors.

Prepare and review all documentation related to safety & health and adhere to deadlines.

Carry out tasks given by the employer or the person in charge at the site regarding safety and health.

Conduct regular safety meetings with the superior and subcontractor.

REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or related fields.

Have a valid CIDB Green Card.

Have at least 3-5 years of experience in construction.

Good in interpersonal, communication & leadership skills.

Self-motivated, responsible, and a team player.

Have own transportation.
